The TSM Doctoral Programme has been awarded the maximum five-year EPAS accreditation. This international accreditation delivered by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) certifies the high quality of the TSM Doctoral Programme.

The EPAS accreditation is the most thorough programme accreditation system for business and management programmes with and international perspective. EPAS covers all facets of programme provision: from its institutional, national and international environment, through its design, delivery, outcomes, and impacts, to its quality assurance processes. It particularly emphasises academic rigour and excellence, employability, internationalisation, ethics and sustainability.
The EPAS accreditation at doctorate level highlights the TSM academic rigour and excellence, employability, internationalisation and research that underpins the programme. According to Fany Declerck, Doctoral Programme Director: "By achieving the leading international EPAS accreditation by EFMD and the elite UMR accreditation by CNRS, TSM embraces high-quality research and in-depth international doctoral training, all combine create an innovative research community and make TSM robustly attractive to high quality students. The PhD programme has three distinctive features that make it strongly emphasized in TSM. First, our PhD candidates have opportunities to gain teaching experience and become engaged with the intellectual community at TSM. Second, the development of international institutional partnerships that goes beyond individual networking by providing students with an opportunity to network at a workshop with peers from other institutions. Third, the Doctoral Programme has a strong diversity of students from 35 different countries and different backgrounds.
