Jana Herbig is a PhD candidate in Strategy and International Management at Toulouse School of Management/ University Toulouse 1 Capitole. Her research in the field of strategic management focuses on mergers and acquisitions and she is particularly interested in organisational learning from acquisition experience. As project team member and affilaite PhD candidate she is part of the European M&A Institute, a scientific collaboration network promoting reserach in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Prior to her PhD studies, Jana obtained a M.Sc. in Strategy and International Management from Toulouse School of Management, a M.Sc. in International Business Administration from the University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt, Germany, and a Master (MiM) in Aerospace Management from Toulouse Business School. She graduated from the University of Bamberg with a B.Sc. in International Business Administration.

Jana completed her end of studies internship in strategic procurement at Airbus Helicopters in Donauwoerth. During her master studies she worked as a student research assistant at the chair of Macroeconomics at the University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. In her undergraduate studies, Jana has been a graduate student assistant at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS).
