Over the last years the TSM Doctoral Programme established partnerships with Sigfox and several doctoral programmes.
Sigfox is a world-leading service provider for Internet of Things (IoT) and builder of the IoT Valley, the biggest IoT ecosystem in Europe created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. Sigfox is rolling out the first global 0G network to listen to billions of objects broadcasting data, without the need to establish and maintain network connections. Sigfox is based in Labège near Toulouse and has offices in Madrid, San Francisco, Sydney and Paris. Doctoral candidates can attend IoT Valley seminars and receive support or business opportunities with the 9-month acceleration program for IoT startups. We also look forward to developing joint research projects on change management.

A European doctoral network in management.
In order to develop doctoral candidate mobility opportunities and to foster international doctoral training, TSM has partnerships with two European doctoral programmes.
- Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is a world-ranked international business school, consistently among the UK's top ten.
- The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is an internationally renowned business school located in Vallendar near Koblenz and Düsseldorf.
This doctoral network means also opportunities of incoming and outgoing academic mobility.
The first outcome is that TSM hosted the first LUMS-TSM-WHU international doctoral workshop on March 28th and 29th 2019. The programme of this workshop is available HERE.
EVENT
The second LUMS-TSM-WHU international doctoral workshop will happen on May 7th and 8th 2020 at WHU.
- During the first day we will cover topics around M&A and Corporate Governance that are widely covered from both a financial & accounting and a strategy & management angle and that will foster interdisciplinary approaches.
- During the second day we will then discuss more specific papers in parallel sessions dedicated separately to financial & accounting and strategy & management.
